Saturday was the Christmas Chili Cook-off sponsored by the Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce and the Christmas cookie decorating sponsored by First Southern Bank with the Caldwell County Extension office overseeing the decorating.
It was the first time Jacob Rogers had attended the cook-off.
click to download audioThere were 6 entries in the chili cook-off and first and second place were awarded. First place went to Donnie Adams and second place was awarded to Chasity Cochron. Local gift certificates were presented to the winners and all proceeds went to the Cope and Hope Centers.
Kayla Kukahiko brought her daughters to decorate the cookies that were provided.
