Hundreds Of Local Kids Receive Christmas Backpacks And Toys

HR Ministries is staying busy this holiday season. The ministry held its annual Community Christmas backpacks and toy giveaway this past weekend and coming up next week it’s the West Kentucky Hoops Classic.
Bro. Harrell Riley with HR Ministries says the backpacks and toy giveaway held at Calvary Baptist Church over the weekend in Princeton was a huge success with over 150 families and more than 480 kids receiving gifts on Saturday.


click to download audioBro. Riley also announced the next event HR Ministries will participate in is the West Kentucky Hoops Classic. On December 23rd, he said they could use some help cooking breakfast for all of the players and coaches.


click to download audioAccording to Bro. Riley, the community supports this tournament and HR Ministries and Joseph’s Storage Bin sponsor the event.


click to download audioThat being said, he noted that Joseph’s Storage Bin will be closed on December 23rd for the event as well as allowing the staff to get ready for Christmas on Sunday. Come that Monday, Bro. Riley said Joseph’s Storage Bin will be open and ready to receive “all your clean-out donations.”


click to download audioHe also announced that Kevin Alexander, of Eddyville, is the new director at Joseph’s Storage Bin.
