An Eddyville man was recently indicted by a grand jury for being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun.
Lyon County Sheriff Brent White says Deputy David Carroll served an indictment warrant on 34-year old Aren Starnes around 8:20 Wednesday night, December 14th. Starnes was reportedly indicted by a Lyon County grand jury on one count of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Sheriff White indicates Starnes was the subject of an investigation by the local sheriff’s office and the Western KY Violent Crimes Task Force as it pertains to this case. No other information was released.
Starnes is lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
