Lyon County Sheriff Brent White says with an additional 2.25 to 2.50 inches of snow overnight travel is difficult in the county due to dangerous road conditions.
All of the roads are slick and hazardous at this time, according to Sheriff White, with deputies responding to three minor collisions before 11:00 on U.S. 641 North between Eddyville and Fredonia.

Sheriff White says if you have to be out take it slow as you go and allow yourself some extra time to get to your destination. However, he encourages residents to stay at home and not get out on the roadways, if possible.
