The end of the year will begin a new chapter in the life of Caldwell County Judge-Executive Larry Curling who will be retiring.
Curling graduated from Caldwell County High School in 1974 and then went on to obtain his teaching certificate before returning home to teach 5th grade for 20 years and coach football at his Alma Mater.

Curling has previously tried retirement after spending 32 years as an educator in the Caldwell County school system before seeking public office. He decided to throw his hat into the political arena which is something he had previously considered doing and was elected magistrate and then judge-executive.
