The founders of a Paducah distillery have announced they will be expanding and adding a second location in Livingston County.
Officials with Silent Brigade Distillery announced on social media Tuesday that they have closed on its expansion property at the prior City Hall building in Grand Rivers.
According to its website, the Silent Brigade Distillery is located in downtown Paducah. It was founded by co-workers and friends Keith Bundy and John Brown back in 2014, who shared a passion for researching, designing and crafting copper stills. After building four stills for existing craft distilleries, the duo opened Silent Brigade.
The name Silent Brigade is also known as the Night Riders from the Black Patch Tobacco Wars — a period of civil unrest and violence that’s a part of Princeton, Hopkinsville, and Russellville’s history.
