Culverts Scheduled to be Replaced on Three Caldwell Roads


Motorists need to be aware the Caldwell County Road Department is planning to replace three failing culverts this week which could affect your morning commute.
According to Road Supervisor David Waldrum, the work will begin at 7:30 a.m. each morning and should be completed by 11:30 a.m. on the scheduled day.
On Wednesday, Waldrum says a culvert will be replaced in the 300 block of Board Road, and then Thursday on Crider Dulaney Road 1/2 mile from Old Fredonia Road. On Friday, he indicates the road crew will be on West White Sulphur Road near Hidden Meadow Road.
Notice will be given if rescheduling becomes necessary.
