Two juvenile passengers were injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Lyon County last week.
Sheriff Brent White says 54-year old Donald Lewis, of Eddyville, was westbound on U.S. 62 Wednesday evening when he collided with some hay bales that had fallen off of a trailer onto the roadway. Sheriff White indicates as Lewis turned around to warn other drivers and to see if he could the objects out of the roadway, his vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by 48-year old Natasha Cook, of Kuttawa.
Sheriff White says two juvenile passengers in Cook’s vehicle were injured and sought treatment at an area hospital.
