The Caldwell County Middle School Junior Beta Club attended the State Convention on January 18 – 20 at the Convention Center in Lexington.
Sponsors Chelsea Ardrey, Melinda Smith and Allison Asher accompanied the group as they attended sessions and competed in contests.
Ardrey explained what the Jr. Beta Club is and how students can get involved.

click to download audioThe top 8 individuals in each contest will be competing at the National Convention to be held in Louisville in June. The club is planning on holding fundraisers to help with the expenses for the upcoming convention. There are around 80 members in the local group and depending on funds raised they hope to take more students to experience the National Convention.
