Magistrates Note Contributions Of Service From Community Members


A beloved community member, the manager of a local fast food restaurant, and the local executive director for economic development were a part of the magistrates’ comments shared during the Caldwell County Fiscal Court meeting held this week.
As previously reported by the News Edge, Governor Andy Beshear announced on January 13th that Executive Director Amanda Davenport with the Lake Barkley Partnership for Economic Development was appointed to the Water Transportation Advisory Board to serve a term expiring on December 27, 2026. She replaced Joseph Crabtree, whose term had expired.
In addition, Davenport participated in the Kentuckians for Better Transportation 2023 Conference in Louisville the same week as the governor’s announcement. During the fiscal court meeting Tuesday morning, District 4 Magistrate Jeff Simms took a moment to recognize Davenport for her representation of Caldwell County.
