Planters Bank Donates Over $100,000 To Area Non-Profit Organizations

Planters Bank – Princeton

As part of its ninth annual ‘Season of Giving’ campaign, Planters Bank generously donated a total of $102,902 among 12 different community organizations located in western Kentucky and Tennessee.
This year, the community giving campaign was enhanced with the bank’s offer to match each item donation with a monetary donation for its value, as requested by the non-profit organizations. Elizabeth McCoy, the CEO of Planters Bank, announced in a news release that the organization had selected organizations to support that they knew they could make twice the impact on. To further their efforts, they then matched the monetary value of their donations with their own dollar-for-dollar donations, ultimately providing over $100,000 in checks to local groups.
