Caldwell County Roads Slick And Hazardous

A wintry mix that fell overnight has caused hazardous driving conditions around the area this morning.

Caldwell County Road Supervisor David Waldrum reports county road crews are salting and plowing where possible this morning. He says roads are treacherous at best. Waldram urges anyone who can stay home should do so.
Caldwell County Sheriff Don Weedman is reporting all highways are slick. He advises residents to limit travel to what’s absolutely necessary until the temperature rises and the salt begins to melt ice.
Princeton Public Works Director David Sullenger is reporting city streets are slick and covered. He indicates crews are out salting this morning. He also urges residents to stay home if possible and reminds residents to give crews plenty of room on the road to work.
