A Kuttawa woman who was injured in a wreck in October has been charged with DUI.
According to Lyon County Sheriff Brent White, 50-year old Dena Decker was served a criminal summons charging her with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of controlled substances – 1st offense.
Sheriff White says Decker was the driver of an SUV involved in a single-vehicle wreck on KY 93 North and was hospitalized for injuries. Sheriff White reports that a blood sample taken from Decker after the accident was sent to the Kentucky State Police Laboratory for examination, and the results of the analysis ultimately led to Decker being charged in the incident.
Decker is scheduled to be arraigned in Lyon District Court on February 22.
