The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says a female juvenile is facing charges after she was found in possession of a vape and other drug paraphernalia which tested positive for THC last week.
Sheriff Brent White says around 2:40 Monday afternoon, February 6, Deputy Jason Young charged a 14-year female with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after school officials notified the School Resource Officer concerning a report of students vaping on a school bus and passing substances back and forth between students.
According to Sheriff White, the student was sent home from school and may face additional administrative action by the school district.
