A Princeton man was charged with assault after an altercation Friday morning.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison says officers responded to a domestic disturbance near the 100 block of West Legion Drive around 10:00 that morning and made contact with 24-year old Michael Earley and 42-year old Bobbi Baker. Officers were reportedly told that Baker was asked to leave the residence and refused which lead to a physical altercation.
According to police, officers found Baker bleeding from the head when they arrived and she told officers that Earley had struck her with an object. Earley was taken into custody and charged with second-degree assault and Baker was issued a citation for first-degree criminal trespassing.
Assistant Chief Allision says Baker was transported to the Caldwell County Hospital by Caldwell County EMS for apparent minor injuries.
