Two inmates at the prison in Eddyville have been indicted for allegedly assaulting a correctional employee.
According to Lyon County Sheriff Brent White, Deputy Lori Francis served Lyon County Circuit Court indictment warrants on 39-year old Isidro Perez, of Liberty, and 30-year old Terrance Downs, of Louisville, around 11:00 Thursday morning, February 9th. Both inmates are charged with third-degree assault (inmate assault on a correctional employee) and first-degree persistent felony offender. Both subjects are inmates at the Kentucky State Penitentiary.
