Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 2 spokeswoman Keirsten Jaggers is reporting several routes in the district are closed due to flooding or have high water over the road, including in the counties of Caldwell, Webster and Hopkins. She strongly encourages motorists to turn around if they encounter water over the road.
As of 1:45 p.m., Jaggers is reporting the following:
Caldwell County
KY 91 is closed from KY 139 to KY 70 between Princeton and Fredonia
High water signs posted on KY 91 at the 7.1-mile marker
KY 293 – high water signs posted at the 1.8-mile marker
Webster County
Roads closed due to high water:
