Authorities have released the name of a man that was killed in a wreck on Greenville Road in Lacy Wednesday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a passenger truck driven by 47-year-old Jason Blake of Greenville and a large commercial truck driven by Damien Powell of Hopkins County collided head-on at the 11,000 block of Greenville Road.
Powell reportedly ran off the road and then crossed the center line due to the wind.
Powell was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries. Blake had to be cut from his vehicle and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened just after 8 am.
