The George Coon Public Library has announced several fun activities for children and adults coming up this month.
Rebecca Poole with the library says the library has had a “really good turnout” of children and adults for the Winter Reading Program, which continues through this Saturday.

Poole says they are looking forward to the upcoming Pixel Art program for teens and preteens, which will be hosted at the library on Saturday, March 18th at 2:00 PM.

According to Poole, the library will host a Spring Scavenger Hunt for kids and adults from March 20th — the official first day of Spring — into April.
click to download audioThen the next day on Tuesday, March 21st, the library will host a free kid’s program — Yarn Art — at 4:00 that afternoon.
click to download audioPoole also announced that the library has a range of exciting activities planned for kids to enjoy during Spring Break in April, noting that over 200 people visited the library during the same period last year.
