National Weather Service Says Friday Tornado Confirmed In McCracken County

The National Weather Service says there was only one tornado confirmed in Western Kentucky Friday afternoon, with the twister touching down south of Paducah.
Christine Weilgos, who is the Warning Coordination Meteorologist at the National Weather Service Office in Paducah, says they attempted to send a team out Friday after the severe thundstorms moved through but had to wait until Saturday morning.
