Princeton EPB Reports All Power Restored To Members


All power has been restored to residents and businesses in the City of Princeton, with only a few scattered outages remaining in Caldwell, Crittenden, and Lyon counties after Friday’s storms and high winds caused massive outages across western Kentucky.
Operations Superintendent Chris Burton with the Princeton Electric Plant Board reported Monday morning all power is back on for their customers. He says crews finished repairs to customers around 6:00 Saturday morning. On Sunday, he indicates four linemen with the Princeton Electric Plant Board traveled to Madisonville to provide mutual aid.
Meanwhile, Pennyrile Electric is reporting all power has been restored to all but 1 member in Caldwell County with 46 still without electricity in Lyon County as of mid-afternoon Monday.
In addition, Kenergy is reporting less than 10 customers each are still without power in Caldwell and Crittenden counties.
KG&E and KU are reporting as of mid-afternoon all power has been restored to members in Caldwell County and Lyon County.
