Members of the Caldwell County Special Olympic Basketball teams enjoyed a kick-off party Monday afternoon as they prepare for the state tournament.
The teams held their practice and then were presented with an encouragement meal at the elementary school hosted by Goodman Funeral Home and Little Caesars of Princeton complete with cupcakes and drinks.
Jonathan and Shannon Goodman owners of the local funeral home said when they heard about the success of the teams and the upcoming tournament they wanted to do something to honor the teams.
