The Caldwell County Grand Jury returned one felony indictment during its session on March 7th.
A true bill was returned on 33-year old Trever Tucker, of Dawson Springs, on two counts of first-degree assault and resisting arrest.
The charges stem from January 9 when Kentucky State Police reported they received a call from the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department for assistance with a domestic dispute in the 100 block of H Haile Road in Dawson Springs around 10:00 that night.
According to state police, troopers arrived at the scene and found two adult females who had been injured with a knife when they were assaulted by Tucker.
One female was reportedly transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Health in Hopkinsville and the other female was flown by helicopter to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Tucker remains lodged in the Caldwell County Jail under a $25,000 cash bond.
