Two Marion residents are facing charges after a shoplifting complaint at a store in Fredonia over the weekend.
Caldwell County Sheriff Don Weedman says deputies were sent to the Dollar General to investigate the complaint shortly after 7:30 Sunday night.
After locating the individuals, Deputy Kenneth Vincent reportedly arrested 48-year old Melissa Lynch and 47-year old Sunshine Driver. Lynch was charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting and Driver was charged with tampering with physical evidence.
Both subjects were booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
