A garage/workshop was damaged in a Saturday afternoon fire in Caldwell County.
Local firefighters were sent to a structure fire in the 200 block of Walnut Hill Road shortly before 2:45 p.m.
The building reportedly sustained heavy damage with Caldwell County Fire Chief Brent Francis reporting all of its contents were destroyed.
Chief Francis said he suspects that a woodburning stove inside the building was the source of the fire.
According to Chief Francis, the home near the garage/workshop was not damaged.
Firefighters were on the scene of the fire for over 3 hours.
