Crittenden, Trigg Counties Welcome Newly Trained Dispatchers

Emergency call centers in Crittenden County and Trigg County will receive some needed help following the graduation of dispatchers from the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond.
Christine Emily Downs from Crittenden County and Kayla Saupe from Trigg County completed the 164-hour academy that includes training in identifying the role and responsibilities of the dispatcher, correct phone and radio procedures, handling emergency and non-emergency calls for service, emergency medical dispatch protocols and use of the state and national criminal databases.
They were part of the 148th DOCJT dispatcher academy class which most emergency call centers now require for employment.
