Graveside services for 43-year old Crystal Gayle Hammonds, of Murray, will be at 11:00 Saturday morning, April 1, at Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers.
Lakeland Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Crystal passed away March 28, 2023 in Murray, KY. She was born Feb. 25, 1980 in Paducah, KY to Verna Gayle Hammonds & the late Marty Ray Hammonds. She attended Forest Hills School in Paducah, KY. Crystal lived most of her life in her hometown of Grand Rivers, KY and was a member of Grand Rivers Baptist Church. She loved her family, her friends, her dogs and all animals, music and Jesus. She was a social butterfly who never met a stranger and especially enjoyed activities with all her special friends she made this past year at Spring Creek Nursing Facility in Murray, both staff and other residents whom she loved dearly.
Crystal is proceeded in death by her father, brother Stephen Hammonds, maternal grandparents James Carl Watkins & Wanda Peek, and paternal grandparents Tandy & Mary Hammonds.
Crystal is survived by her mother, Verna Gayle Hammonds of Murray, KY; aunt Carolyn Chittenden (Calvin) of Russellville, KY; uncle Danny Watkins (Laura) of Grand Rivers, KY; uncle Dalton Watkins (Lynne) of Grand Rivers, KY; aunt Ethel Woodard of Cadiz, KY; cousin Tammy Michelle Chittenden of Russellville, KY; cousin Misty Thomas of Russellville, KY; cousin Austin Watkins (Chelsey) of Calvert City, KY; and special friend Mellon Watkins & his children of Murray, KY; along with many other family and friends left to mourn her loss.
