Officials with George Coon Public Library are excited about the popularity of the new seed library available for the community this year.
Library Director Nichelle Faughn says the idea of a seed library came from the Kentucky Library’s Association Conference that she attended a few years ago.

click to download audioFaughn said the seeds are free and according to Kathy Svoboda, president of the Friends of George Coon Public Library, the library also offers gardening tools you can check out to plant your seeds.
