A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date for 65-year old Chris Phelps, of Fredonia.
Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Chris was born April 18, 1957 to Marion Phelps and the late Laura Kathryn Brown Phelps. He was a member of Fredonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his father he is survived by sister, Kathy Hillyard of Crestwood, KY; brother, Tony Phelps of Fredonia; nephews Josh Hillyard and Seth Hillyard both of Louisville; four grand-nephews; three grand-nieces; aunts, Marjorie Carner of Lyon County, Nancy Huffstutter of Paducah; uncles, Darryl “Buzz” (Faye) Phelps of Fredonia, Bill (Linda) Phelps of Fredonia, Doug (Kaye) Phelps of Fredonia, Paul (Susan) Brown of Princeton.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by brother, Kevin Phelps; brother-in-law, Anthony Hillyard; uncles Jerry Phelps, Donald Phelps, John Carner and Donald Huffstutter.
