Lake Barkley Chamber Seeking Nominations for Yearly Awards

The Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for awards in several categories ahead of the annual awards dinner and ceremony later this month.
Chamber Director Monica Walker said there are five awards to be given at this year’s dinner — New Business of the Year, Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Outstanding Citizen of the Year, and Chamber Member of the Year.


click to download audioThe awards dinner will be held on April 27 at Hu-B’s in Kuttawa with a big night planned.


click to download audioDoors will open on the 27th at 5:00 with the dinner to follow at 6:00. Walker said tickets and sponsorships are avilable through the chamber. The dinner will have a Derby theme with awards given to the best dressed in attendance as well as an award for the best Derby hat.
The Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce has 157 members and serves Lyon, Caldwell, and Livingston counties but has members throughout western Kentucky.
Walker said the popular marina crawl will be returning this July and hopes they can collaborate with other leaders for more events in the future.
