Princeton Tourism Launches New Tourism Website

With tourism numbers surpassing pre-Covid numbers, the City of Princeton and its tourism commission have launched a new website that will allow visitors a chance to search for places to visit when they travel to Caldwell County.
Jenny Clark, planning administrator for Princeton, said tourprincetonky.com has a feature that should prove beneficial to people looking to learn more about what Caldwell County has to offer.

click to download audioShe said anyone who isn’t on the website should contact her at city hall to get added. Clark went on to say that Princeton and Caldwell County has a lot to offer and another strategy is to involve more social media.

click to download audioDirect tourism spending in Caldwell County in 2021 was $10.1 million with total spending at $15.6 million. In 2018, direct spending was $8.8 million and total spending was $14.3 million.
Tourism makes up 132 jobs in Caldwell County which accounts for two percent of its labor force.
The Princeton Tourism Commission is funded through the transient room tax which nets about $10,000 a year.
