The Caldwell County Conservation District has announced the date for its annual tree seedling giveaway.
Hannah Feagan, a soil conservation technician with the local office, says that they will have a total of 500 seedlings of five different varieties available on April 18th.

In addition to the seedlings, she says the ag department at the local high school built birdhouses to give away.
