Crofton Man Charged With Meth Possession In Princeton


A welfare check at a Princeton gas station led to the arrest of a Christian County man for possession of methamphetamine.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reported that officers responded to the Marathon gas station on Marion Road at 5:45 Monday evening to investigate a male subject who had been reported as unconscious while sitting in a vehicle.
According to the report, 65-year old Charles Gamble, of Crofton, was taken into custody after it was determined that he was under the influence of intoxicating substances and in possession of methamphetamine.
Gamble was charged with public intoxication and first-degree possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense – meth. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
