Caldwell County High School has announced nine students have been selected to attend the Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs this summer at Northern Kentucky University.
Public Relations Coordinator Lizzie Shelton with the school district says the local students selected are Keegan Miller, Benashka Thomas, Abbey Gill, Makenna Chambliss, Annabelle Conger, Harper Ritchey, Jack Englebright, Preston Morris, and Cason Littlejohn.
GSE brings high school students together from across the state, immersing them in a creative space during a residential program and arming them with the educational tools needed to unleash entrepreneurial spirits. Through the program, students will learn firsthand about the opportunities, benefits, and pitfalls of beginning a business. Teams of students will develop business models, design prototypes, and pitch startup ideas to a large audience and panel of judges.
Shelton says they are proud to have these Tigers represent Caldwell County School at the Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs.
