The Fredonia Water System has issued a Boil Water Advisory for some of its customers.
According to Fredonia Mayor Jim Seibert, the advisory is in effect for customers in the following areas:
Old Mexico Road
The Sub Division
902 East
Grandview
Hill Side
Oak Hill
Mott City Road
Marion Road past Old Mexico Road
Hugh Yates Road
Christopher Lane
The advisory was issued after a water leak was reportedly found in the Sub Division Sunday morning that caused low pressure. Repairs were made Sunday afternoon with Mayor Seibert reporting the water pressure would return slowly. He also noted there could be some air in the water lines.
The boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.
