Meth Investigation In Webster County Leads To Three Arrests

Webster County Sheriff Billy Braden says local law enforcement worked together burning the midnight oil Monday night to address the drug epidemic in the county.
He reported in a post on social media that two search warrants were executed back to back netting the arrest of three individuals in an ongoing methamphetamine investigation.
Shortly after 9:00 Monday night, Sheriff Braden says the Providence and Clay Police Departments, along with deputies, executed a search warrant on a residence on Diamond-Green Grove Road in Diamond.
During a search, units reportedly recovered evidence of trafficking in controlled substances along with quantities of meth, cash, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
According to Sheriff Braden, Jeffery Greenwell and Debra Garrett were both taken into custody and lodged in the Webster County Jail on charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance over or equal to 2 grams of meth, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The second search warrant was served shortly after 11:45 at a residence on Barbour Street in Providence where units reportedly recovered quantities of meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
As a result of the investigation, Kent Clevenger was taken into custody and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense – methamphetamine, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Webster County Jail.
In addition, Amber Clevenger and Chance Berg were cited and released on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
