Princeton City Council heard reports Monday night regarding the Princeton-Caldwell County Airport and alcohol sales in the city for the first two months of this year.
Airport board member and councilman Jim Joiner announced that the initial phase for constructing new t-hangars will begin this year.
click to download audioAs previously reported by Your News Edge, the airport board is wanting to build ten individual t-hangars at a cost of approximately $100,000 per hangar.
Joiner said there are also some fencing and erosion issues that are being addressed at the airport.

click to download audioThe City’s Alcohol Beverage Control Monthly Sales report shows for January and February the total year-to-date total sales is just north of $28,741, which City Clerk Julie Poole says is a decrease of approximately $1,000 compared to previous years.
