Funeral services for 76-year old Wayne Oldham, of Princeton, will be held at 11:00 Saturday morning, April 22, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Princeton.
Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Wayne Oldham passed away April 18, 2023 at Caldwell Medical Center.
Wayne was born April 29, 1946 to the late Powell E. and Pauline Pickering Oldham in Caldwell County. Wayne was raised by his aunt and uncle, Gayle and Ilene Kilgore. He was a member Elks Lodge #116 for 55 years. Wayne enjoyed gardening and took pride in his yard. During Wayne’s younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Wayne was an avid golfer and a member of the Princeton Golf and County Club. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Princeton.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Karen Levin Oldham of Princeton; son, Jason (Melinda) Oldham of North Carolina; step-daughter, Jennifer (Karl) Sand of Oregon; step-son, Brian (Michelle) Leech of Fredonia; grandchildren, Tyler Oldham and Jack Oldham; step-grandchildren, Konner Sand and Kayla Pierce; 4 step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Hilda Rogers; brother, Kenneth Oldham.
