At this week’s meeting, the Caldwell County school board recognized several students for their achievements in art, academics, carpentry, plumbing and electrical.
Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Roach presented Certificates of Achievement to two Caldwell County High School students who had submissions accepted to the 2023 KyAEA All-State Purchase-Pennyrile Art Exhibition at Murray State University.
click to download audioCertificates of Achievement were also presented to Payten Simmons, Eric Dillingham, and Elijah Thomas of the Caldwell County Middle School Academic Team for competing in the state Governor’s Cup last month.
In addition, Dr. Roach also recognized 21 students of the Caldwell Regional Career Center who received OSHA 10 certifications, which included twelve carpentry students.
click to download audioAnd Roach announced that Xavier Bumphus was the Associated General Contractors of West Kentucky Technical Center Student of the Week for March 10th.
Bumphus and several other students were unable to attend the meeting.
