County Clerk’s Offices in Caldwell, Christian and Trigg Counties are reporting that they have been advised by the Kentucky Department of Transportation that the motor vehicle licensing system is down across Kentucky and nationwide. Reports indicate the problem is impacting all offices across the state.

Clerk’s offices can still conduct deed transfers and other services, but cannot complete any work with motor vehicle licensing.
Officials tell Your News Edge they are not sure how quickly the problem will be solved and how soon they will be able to process vehicle licenses again.
