An Illinois man wanted in Florida for drug trafficking is facing additional drug charges after he was arrested in Princeton Wednesday afternoon.
Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison says 51-year old James Walthers, of Neoga, Illinois, was taken into custody shortly after 4:00 p.m. on a fugitive warrant for trafficking in phenethylamines and driving with a suspended license. Walthers was also reportedly found in possession of meth and paraphernalia.
Walthers was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance 1st offense – methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
