Princeton Man Arraigned In Dawson Springs Murder

Trever Tucker/Caldwell County Jail mugshot

A Princeton man indicted for murder last month in connection to an assault that occurred in Caldwell County earlier this year was arraigned in Caldwell County Circuit Court Tuesday afternoon.
According to court records, Trever Tucker pled not guilty in connection to the death of Patricia Squires, who died in late March while in hospice care at Mercy Health in Paducah.
Tucker was previously indicted in March on two counts of first-degree assault after the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office called state police to investigate a domestic dispute in the 100 block of H Haile Road in Dawson Springs on the night of January 9th.
According to state police, troopers arrived at the scene and found two adult females who had been injured with a knife when they were assaulted by Tucker.
State police confirmed to Your News Edge that Bailey Whitman was transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Health in Hopkinsville and her mother, Squires was flown by helicopter to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. State police said Squires was later transferred to hospice care in Paducah where she passed away.
Tucker will be back in court on June 6 for a pretrial conference.
Tucker remains lodged in the Caldwell County Jail on a $1 million bond.
