A Princeton man was indicted for murder by the Caldwell County Grand Jury during its May session.
42-year old Eric Wright was indicted on one count of murder in connection to the death of his wife, 27-year old Rachel Tucker/Wright of Princeton, in March. According to the indictment, she allegedly suffered blunt force trauma.
State police were called to conduct a death investigation at a home on 2848 Dripping Springs Road on March 26th after an initial call came into 911 to report an unresponsive female. State police reported that the preliminary investigation indicated that foul play was suspected.
Wright was interviewed by state police and subsequently charged with murder – domestic violence. He was taken into custody and lodged in the Caldwell County Jail where he remains under a $1 million bond.
