The Caldwell County Band of Pride hosted the 2nd annual Fine Arts Festival Saturday on the Butler Campus in downtown Princeton.
This year performances and displays were added by the choir and arts departments at the local high school who joined the middle and high school band programs. There were over 200 in attendance to support the local students.
High School Band Director Daniel Thomas was grateful the weather cooperated and for the good turnout for the activities.

click to download audioAccording to Thomas, this is the 2nd year for the program and more forms of the arts were included since last year. The goal is to continue to add more activities and improve the festival each year.
click to download audioThe local bands are wrapping up their season this month but plans are already being made for the upcoming marching band season starting with camp in July.
