A contractor with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to begin milling and paving operations on KY 139/Cadiz Road in Caldwell County on Monday.
District 2 spokeswoman Keirsten Jaggers says the work will begin on Main Street in Princeton and proceed toward the intersection at KY 293 and Legion Drive, then southward to Interstate 24.
She alerts over-sized vehicles that a width restriction of 10 feet will be in place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and large trucks and equipment should utilize alternate routes or hours to travel this section of KY 139.
Motorists should drive with caution and be prepared for stops due to the milling and paving. Jaggers says flaggers will be present for traffic control.
The work is expected to be completed in 2 to 3 weeks.
