A memorial service for 93-year-old Amaryllis Ann Napier, of Princeton, will be held Wednesday evening, May 17, at 5:00, at Goodman Funeral Home.
A private family burial will be held at a later date.
Visitation will begin Wednesday at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
Napier died Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Jennie Stuart Hospital in Hopkinsville. She was born the daughter of the late Cyrus and Anna Rollins. Amaryllis was of the Methodist faith and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. While Amaryllis loved reading and spent time as a member of the Rhyming Poetry Society, her greatest love was her family and grandkids.
She is survived by her daughter: Regina Everette (Randy) of Princeton; her sister: Bobby Joe White of Hopkinsville; her eight grandchildren; her seventeen great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Hiram Napier, Jr.; her daughter: Ellen Dawn Napier; her two brothers: Eugene Rollins and Nathan Gale Rollins; her two sisters: Violet Davis and Martha Thomas.
