Kentucky 139 South/Cadiz Road in Caldwell County will be repaved with work underway.
District 4 magistrate Jeff Simms tells Your News Edge this project has been in the works for over four years.
He says the paving will take place from the Legion Drive intersection at the Circle K gas station, extending to the Interstate 24 intersection near Trigg County.
Simms adds there is a possibility that white lines could be added to the road after the paving is complete.
The project will take up to three weeks to complete.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that oversized vehicles need be aware that a width restriction of 10 feet will be in place from 6 AM to 6 PM. Motorists should drive with caution and be prepared for stops due to work. Flaggers will be present for traffic control.
