Caldwell County Middle School is reminding parents about upcoming award ceremonies for their children.
With Friday the last day of school for students, the award ceremonies are in full swing. The events begin with the 8th-grade awards and promotion ceremony Thursday morning at 9:00 in the gymnasium. Doors will open at 8:45 for parents and families to enter, but because of the size of the gym, families are encouraged to limit the number of people attending so everyone has a chance to have someone in attendance. Once the program is over, you will have the opportunity to check out your 8th grader.
The 6th-grade awards will be held on Friday morning at 8:15 in the gym, with the 7th-grade awards following at 9:45. Parents are welcome to attend both ceremonies.
Students are asked to have their lockers cleaned out before leaving school Friday. Starting Monday, custodians will collect and dispose of any belongings left.
