A Fredonia man was charged after a report of a burglary in progress on North Jefferson Street in Princeton Tuesday afternoon.
Princeton Police say they responded to the 500 block of North Jefferson Street just after 2 p.m. for a burglary in progress and while responding they found a vehicle matching the description given by the caller and stopped it on Marion Road.
The driver 52-year-old Michael Board reportedly attempted to enter the residence through multiple doors and damaged them before he was able to make entry and assault someone inside the home.
He was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault domestic violence.
