King’s Kitchen in Princeton is gearing up for its first food distribution event of the summer on Tuesday.
Organizers Lee Ann Gilkey and Sheila Meeks shared with Your News Edge that the event will take place at the Southside Baptist Church Life Center from 3:00 to 6:30 PM Tuesday. The distribution events will take place every two weeks this summer.
The organization is looking for volunteers to help get the boxes ready for distribution Tuesday.
King’s Kitchen is expecting to help out around 100 Caldwell County families this summer, and with that, donations are needed to keep the program running. WPKY and community partner T-Mobile will host a special fundraiser Wednesday at our studios and Food Giant of Princeton.
